The People Behind the Kitchens

At BCK Interiors, kitchens are more than a job, it’s not just about individual expertise, it’s about how the team works together. Different backgrounds, shared standards, and genuine care for getting every detail right mean that every project benefits from multiple perspectives. It’s a small team by design, close-knit, collaborative, and fully invested in creating kitchens that really work for the people who use them. We’re a friendly bunch, and our clients often tell us we end up feeling more like friends – we’re with you every step of the way.

Tilly Hall

Senior Kitchen Designer

Tilly brings over a decade of kitchen design experience dating back to 2014. Her role spans everything from sketching layouts and creating CAD designs to presenting ideas in the showroom and visiting sites, all while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. She thrives on the variety of each project, using creativity to solve design challenges and make a real difference to clients’ homes.

Tilly was shortlisted for Young Designer of the Year in 2019, and her portfolio even includes kitchens for Camilla Fayed, Eliane Astor de Merode, Princess of Belgium and Honor Blackman. A firm believer in the power of great appliances, she champions the combi oven as the unsung hero of the kitchen, though she admits a Bora hob is hard to beat.

Q&A with Tilly

  • I am usually found sketching layouts and drawing up designs in our CAD software but also speaking to customers in the showroom, presenting designs, going on site visits and generally keeping the showroom organised.

I love how every project is different and that we get to use our creativity to solve various design challenges and genuinely make a difference to someone’s life.

  • I started in June 2025 but have designing kitchens since 2014!

  • A small, independent company dynamic was something I was familiar with and makes you feel more valued as an employee compared to larger companies.

  • Being shortlisted for young designer of the year in 2019 will always be a massive accomplishment for me! It makes you want to push boundaries with your designs and provide something exciting for your customers.

  • A Quooker tap is a must for convenience and saving time in the kitchen, but the real hero of the kitchen is the combi oven, a severely underappreciated and misunderstood appliance that everyone should be reaching for instead of the air fryer!

  • My Bora hob is my favourite thing in the kitchen. Quick and easy cooking on induction and no steam or smells making their way into the rest of the kitchen space, whilst looking stylish and blending into our kitchen colour scheme AND being easy to clean!

Beyond the Kitchen

  • I am usually out walking my Greyhound Ozzy or watching rugby at home or at Twickenham.

  • One of my ambitions is to design and build my own house at some point in my life.

  • It would have to be, without a doubt, sushi and Japanese food. There’s so much variety and it’s so delicious!

  • I was an extra in The Inbetweeners film, but you probably can’t see me!

  • Joe Marler – now he’s done with rugby, he’s been all over our tv’s and I feel like we would really get on and have a laugh.

  • Do what makes you happy.

  • I have designed kitchen spaces for Camilla Fayed, Eliane Astor de Merode, Princess of Belgium and Honor Blackman.
